The legend lives on.

Grab your time machine and head back to 1994. Now say the words 'Race Bike' to any mountain biker, and they'll get a glazed look and mumble 'Yeti Arc.' The two phrases have been synonymous ever since Yeti got together with Easton to build the lightest hardtail race frame on the planet. Since then, the tubing has changed-now Yeti Pure tubing-but everything else is pretty much the same. From the loop stays that give the ARC a more compliant ride to the super-aggressive XC race geometry, this little thoroughbred is still built to win.

  • Fox 32 F-Series fork with new, lighter FIT dampening with rebound, compression, and lockout for off road performance
  • Shimano Dyna-Sys 10-speed drivetrain provides optimum gear ratios for XC racing
  • Light and stiff DT Swiss X1600 wheelset fights deflection for fast acceleration and pinpoint handling
  • Proven Thomson and Easton cockpit components for an ultra lightweight build
  • 15QR front axle for steering precision

Hey there, what do you think of the Yeti Cycles ARC Race Bike - 2011?

I've been riding my '96 Schwinn Homegrown and '94 GT Corrado this past year. After multiple component failures, my wife surprised me with this fantastic bike for Christmas. It is a beast on the trails. Reminds me of the nimble and quick handling my Schwinn had when it was new many years ago.
I ride East Coast rocky (loose) and muddy terrain, with short steep ascents. The YETI Arc takes hold of the trail and doesn't let go. It is truly an amazing bike. The medium weighed in at 23.5 lbs (w/o pedals). Super light and super fun to ride.
The folks at HuckNRoll have been very helpful providing technical help as well. Great company to buy from.

I purchased my first Yeti without riding one for about 3 years. When the bike was received it was like opening a birthday gift to yourself. I almost prefer a delivered bike instead of one bought at a store because of the fun of unwrapping and assembling your new ride.
I was shocked how light the bike is.
Looking at the detail of the welds and the forming of the tubing is like art. The attention to detail is amazing.
The shifting and braking is responsive and adjusted perfectly.
Going from a vintage GT Karakoram (94) ridged no fork to this is like driving a Ferrari for the first time.
The first time thru the woods it seemed like it was meant to be there. Like it plowed thru the terrain with so much easy it was scary fun.
Would highly recommend a Yeti!
