Serfas Air Pod CO2 Pump

I don't have a single complaint with this pump. It's very lightweight, has a trigger for controlled inflation, supports 12g threaded/non-threaded cartridges, and 16g threaded cartridges. It has openings for Shraeder and Presta, and will inflate your tire in seconds.

Of the 10 or so cartridges I've used in this pump, I've never experienced any air leakage like another reviewer mentioned. The pump and cartridges are worth every penny for me... less hassle pumping up your tire and more time riding.

I use the Serfas CO2 16gram cartridges and I get about 40psi with my 26" MTB tires, so make sure you have a couple cartridges with you.

This item saves the weight of a pump, and also the wait of having to pump up your tire. It's nice and versatile, compatible with both 12 and 16 gram threaded or non-threaded co2 cartridges.

Got a flat and needed a pump. This guy did the trick! It's lightweight, versatile, easy to pack, and will get your tire pressure to where you want it. I use the hand pump to get most the air in and then top it off with some CO2. This gives you a little more bang for the buck when using CO@ cartridges.

The first time I used this it leaked a bit of air after the cartridge was punctured. I'm going to give Serfas the benefit of doubt and assume it was a fluke because it hasn't happened again. It would be nice to have a pressure gauge, but once you get a feel for what your tires should feel like, that's really not an issue.

IMHO, this style that doesn't require a threaded cartridge is the way to go. You can get them for way cheaper. Just make sure they are 12g if they are not threaded or they won't fit. You still have the option of using either size if the cartridge is threaded, so you're options are really open with this tool.

Oh, and if you're using 12g cartridges, you'll definitely want to take 2 on the trail at all times as 1 will barely fill 1 tire, depending on your tires.
