Why is the breathability rating only 8k for this Event fabric?...

Why is the breathability rating only 8k for this Event fabric? I find the non-info of 'which' event fabric frustrating.....was stoked on picking an Event/likely the BC Event so checking your other event options and Event=tops in breathability doesn't appear consistent. Love more tech info so I can better make my choice.

Happy, I totally agree and feel your pain. I have been converted to eVent last year and it is amazing. The tech details are controversial. Have you ever wondered why goretex specs always just say "guaranteed" for breatheabiltiy and waterproofing? Yeah being indirect seems to solve the problem. That aside, this is one dope jacket and event is the most breatheable stuff I have ever used. you will not go wrong with this guy.
