Why use your real name? Well, because it's real. There's no hiding, but on the other hand, you get real credit for your knowledge. Plus, it pays off: you get 50% more credit for your contributions. For more info check out the Help Center
This is how you compare to the rest of the HuckNRoll Crew. You earn one point for each of your reviews / questions / answers / photos / comments / votes. You gain an extra point every time someone gives one of your contributions a thumbs up (strong), but you lose a point for every thumbs down (weak). If you use your real name, your point total increases by 1.5x, because you deserve credit for putting your neck on the line to make this community better. For more info, check out the Help Center

What kind of racing? But sure, they are good for x-country, but not downhill of course. Also make sure you check out the Crank Brother's line of pedals. For x-country, nothing beats the Egg Beaters or Candy's.

Shimano XT RD-M770/M771 Rear Derailleur

The GS is a mid cage model and is designed to work with up to a 33 teeth rear cassette. The SGS is the long cage model and is designed to work with up to a 42 teeth rear cassette. If you're new to MTB and shifting, go with the long cage as you'll probably cross-shift a lot. Otherwise go with the mid-cage which is what most people run IMHO.
