Titus FTM Complete Mountain Bike - Kit 1

The Titus FTM Complete Mountain Bike gives you right around five inches of bump-smoothing travel for the descents and the ability to lock out everything for the climbs. A head angle just slightly slacker than a cross country race bike adds stability when you’re really pinning it, but you would be seriously mistaken to write off this bike as an only-for-the-down rig.

  • Hydro-formed 6000 aluminum front triangle for serious durability
  • One-piece carbon fiber seat stay reduces weight
  • Oversized sealed pivot bearings increase longevity

Bottom Line: Climbs like a race bike and descends like a freeride rig.

XC love!!!!

This bike is one of the best XC machines I've ever ridden. Very predictable and it did nothing that wasn't expected and everything that I did expect. After riding various trails from single track to slickrock I was impressed with the control of the bike at speed or when slow and technical. I compared this to the Intense Spyder FRO (the 5.5). It seemed the Spyder was more cramped and a smaller geometry in a comparable size (Large in my case) and more set for agressive downhill descents than cross-country. The Titus was a little more laid out and tracked a lot better in my opinion. I also got a lot less feedback from the rear suspension on the Titus. It was there when I needed it and I didn't even have to think about it while climbing or just motoring along spinning along a flat in between obstacles. For reference I'm 6'0" 160 and have about a 32 inseam and the Large fit perfect. Grab one and go race or just plain be the man to beat on the trail.

You'll want a Large on the Titus. Medium runs closer to a 17 inch.
