Swobo Merino 6 Panel Beanie - 2008

This is a great beanie.....for someone with a small dome or a shaved head. If you got locks or a large or abnormal size dome, this beanie ain't for you. I have about a 24in (circumference) noggin. Which it fit fine in that manner. But it wasn't long enough. The earflap that is on the beanie hardly ever covered my ears, and I got some big ears that need shelter from the harsh cold. People with small heads or an everlasting haircut. Shop away. Everybody else........look elsewhere.

This hat is amazingly warm for how thin it is. I wouldn't use it under 40degrees, but from 40 to 55 it is my go-to piece to keep my ears warm. I'd like a warmer version, but this one's thinness is what makes it so comfortable under the helmet (or without).

function comes first - this beanie is perfect for cool to cold NorCal weather.
Ears are covered by a thin material. This is good for cycling (it fits under my helmet) since i warm up quickly, but may not be enough coverage for a cold and/or windy hike.

fashion - this beanie is way cool. my fellow patchouli stinking coffee house regulars in Santa Cruz always comment on the 'hip' factor =)
