This is a great all mountain short. It has four way stretch which makes it versatile for cross country riding as well as free riding. Four starts because of the fit. I am a true womens size 8 so I ordered a medium and they were a little roomy. Sombrio describes this short as FRD fit which is a looser fit. Also the length is pretty long I am 5'3" and the mediums come down below my knee. They have a 14" inseam for the mediums.

Alright ladies, I just got back from my first ride in these bad boys and they seriously rock! They were so comfy and breathable that not once did my mind stray from the ride. I wore a padded liner for extra comfyness on the tush which worked well since there's no chamois built in. The side zipper makes such a difference! I'm 5'1", 130 lbs and a medium fits perfectly, with some extra wiggle room and comes to just below my knees. Also, the dirt was easy to brush off after a minor fall. =)
