Sidi Dominator 5 Shoe - Women's

Slip your foot into the Sidi Women's Dominator 5 MTB Shoe, and feel the difference that Italian craftsmanship makes when you head out for your next club race, trail ride, or training session. Custom feminine-specific lasting eliminates heel slip, and keeps the Dominator 5 slipper-comfortable on rides that last until sundown. The Ultra SL micro-step buckle system makes adjusting the forefoot strap in either direction easy, even while you're clipped in and eyeing the trail. Lorica synthetic leather is impervious to water, abrasion-resistant, and ready for years of pedaling without stretching or deforming.

Bottom Line: The Sidi Dominator 5 will change the way you feel about mountain biking shoes forever.

The only shoe I'll ride

I've had two pairs of these shoes and I love them! The only reason I had to buy a new pair was because my foot grew. They are comfortable and preform awesome.

Hello,
I really like SIDI Dominator5 style. I am indoor spinner, will wear it for the gym's spnning bike, this will be my first pair, and I am so confuse of size.
My shoes size in US is 36.5, but I usually buy puma in 37 for the comfortable. I have tried on Sidi Vigo MTB Indoor Cycling Shoe at NYC local store with size 37 fits me perfect.(the size marks in the back of shoes)
Base on the SIDI’s size chart, if US woman size is 36.5, then in METRIC will be 38, which size should I get?

If you tried on a Sidi in 37, and you liked the Sidi in 37, I'd recommend the Sidi in 37.

Good investment

By:

These shoes are so comfortable, never any problems, blisters, or rubbing. I use them for both my mountain bike and road bike (same pedals). After 8+ years, and over 15,000 miles of riding, they are in almost perfect condition- no holes, no broken buckles, great soles, and look good. However, they are finally starting to stretch out a little and are becoming too spacious. Time for a new pair. Expensive, but a great investment that lasts for years.

Comfort is key

By:

These are the shoes I took with me to Spain. We started in Gerona spain, then rode through the country side and on out to the coast la brava absolutely amazing. Never once slipped on the cobble stone side walks when we stopped for a coffee or cola. We rode maybe 68 to 85 miles a day through small villages and these shoes where pure comfort from where I was sitting/walking/riding. Highly recommend these shoes to anyone in the market for Mountain Bike Shoes

Best shoes ever

By:
May 16, 2009

These shoes are the best mtn bike shoes I have ever owned. I would say that they are well worth the extra money. I just received them about 3 weeks ago and had only had them out on a few short easy rides around town due to snowy trails. Just took them to Moab/Fruita for 8 days and they were so comfortable right from the start, no break in period at all. My feet were never hot or sore even after riding about 4 hours a day, all of my other shoes have always produced a "hotfoot" feeling around the cleat after 2 hours or so. The ratchet is so easy to adjust and they were fine for some hike a bike sections...Buy these shoes!!

I have SPD clips on my road bike. Do I have to use mountain

I have SPD clips on my road bike. Do I have to use mountain bike shoes for my SPD clips? Mountain bike shoes just seem a lot bulkier than road bike shoes.

If you use SPD pedals, you'll need to use a 2-bolt shoe. These shoes are pretty light and non-bulky, you'll probably love them just as much as I do.In my opinion, the walkability far outweighs the extra bulk...I haven't owned true road shoes in years.

I LOVE the Sidi Dominator 5 women's mountain bike shoe!!!

By: Hucknroll.com Employee
August 15, 2008

These shoes are fantastic. I have a somewhat funny foot, relatively narrow and very low volume. I tried on just about every women's mountain bike shoe out there, certainly all of the major brands, and these were the only ones that fit. They were about twice as much as I wanted to spend, but so many shoes I tried on just wouldn't get tight enough. On many, I would ratchet the top strap all the way in, and I could still stick a finger underneath it. One of the many beauties of the Sidi Dominator 5 Women's MTB shoe is that the ratchet is extremely adjustable. You can change the position of the ratchet buckle strap, so it will accommodate a big array of foot types. My boyfriend has a pair of Sidis, and he has pretty much the exact opposite foot type, and his fit great too. These are really well made, and maintain an excellent fit with the little teeth inside the velcro straps, and everything on them is replaceable. I'll think they'll last a long time, and should be worth the high price. They also felt great right out of the box. My third time wearing them I used them for a 100 mile road ride for a charity event and didn't get any blister or irritation whatsoever! (I'm mainly a mountain biker but have borrowed a road bike and just use these shoes, which work great.) As you can see, I can't rave enough.
