Serfas AP-C1 Pump/Inflator
The Serfas AP-C1 is a 12- and SRF0019-ONCO-ONSI16-gram CO2 cartridge inflator and mini hand pump in one, making it the ideal long-distance riding companion in rough terrain. It takes a lot to impress us, but we would have given an arm for this thing last season when three guys in our group flatted out and spent all our CO2 cartridges filling those huge DH tires. One guy had to stay behind, and he was never seen again…we think Sasquatch got him. If we'd only had the Serfas AP-C1 with its backup mini-pump and integrated tire gauge, poor Mitch would still be riding with the crew, and at the right tire pressure to boot.
Bottom Line: Foil Sasquatch, save Mitchell.

Since either is fine and threadless is usually cheaper, go with threadless. It really shouldn't matter.

Was disappointed that it is all plastic, we`ll see how it holds up. There is no cover for the nozzle so dirt and mud tend to cake up inside the nozzle. It does the job though, what else can you ask for?

Keep in mind that you're not going to get this in the last half of a cartridge. That's just the nature of cartridge pumps.

it felt like it was pretty sturdy but the diafram inside that auto selects which size stem you are using blew on the first use. i may have just been unlucky with the one i got sent, other people seem to like theirs...
anyway, i ditched mine and bought a regular one without a pump/reg.
how big is this pump?does it come with mounting brackets to fit

Fully closed I would estimate it at 10-12" in length. It does come with a mount that will fit alongside your water bottle cage.

This pump is by far the best compact pump I've used. The built in PSI gauge helps prevent blowing up your tube when you use the C02 cartridge to fill up your tube. It also has a built in hand pump (if you run out of C02) so you aren't SOL walking for miles to get back to your car. Nice thing, is the hand pump works well and you won't be cranking on it for 25 minutes trying to get your tire completely full. One thing, make sure to buy the 12 Gram C02 Cartridge as the 16 Gram Carts are too big and won't fit into the barrel of this pump. But this is the pump you should grab if you occasionally have to change a flat while riding.
