Okay, but uses short-lived AAA batteries.

The Serfas web site says this light uses AA batteries. It doesn't; it uses the short-lived AAA batteries that are all too common for both head and tail lights. The product description also mentions a built-in reflector. If there is any, it is too small to be of any value.

Great taillight for the price

I've generally been impressed with accessories from Serfas. My experience has been that the quality is inconsistent (some stuff falls apart right away, other stuff is more solid than the gear from more established brands). For the 7-LED Taillight, the quality seems to be on -- it's solidly constructed and has worked reliably for me on my daily commute. The only problem I have with it is that there's no clip -- you can either mount it to a rack (which is what I ended up doing), or attach it to your seatpost (where I keep my cable lock), that's it. I was hoping to clip it to the back of my underseat bag, but no go. On my wishlist, it would be nice if it had more blinking modes (like something more random), but at the same time I dislike clicking though a bunch of modes to turn my light on and off, and I guess you can't have it both ways (although if someone made a taillight that saved state -- that would be cool).

1. Want to use on a motorcycle. Can it be attached to the top edge (say 4 to 6 inches long) and side edges (about 3 inches high) of a motorcycle license plate? Plate is vertical on back fender.
2. Do you have an LED light bar (all red lights), about five inches long that could be used for this application?
3. Any red LED lights for motorcycles?
4. Do have any other product suggestions?

I wish it was designed for AA batteries and not AAA as the battery life and most other products use AA! Other that that is aooears to be a great rear light!
