Hey so I'm looking at the weight and the reviews so somebody is saying its 40-50lbs but then the 427 is only marked at 36 lbs so can someone tell me what it really is? haha

It weighs about 42 lbs. The 427 is lighter because the component spec is higher end and in turn less weight.

does this bike really weigh 26lbs? That sounds "un-possible."

I have last years SS396 (White/Orange). It is definitely in the 40-45 lbs. range. It is heavy, but the word stout describes it well. You might also think about buying tires beforehand, the stock WTB prowler mx's are garbage. I upgraded to Kenda Nevegals and they are heavier, but with the way the backend is set up, it is nice not popping tires.

26 pounds? Not a chance. 50+ pounds? Maybe if they fill the frame and tires with water.

Realistically, this bike is probably somewhere around the 40 pound mark.
