Rocky Mountain Flatline Pro Bike

The flagship of Rocky Mountain’s gravity-fueled offerings, the Flat Line Pro brings it tough to race courses and freeride slopes. With gobs of plush travel, Rocky’s DH race rig can straight-line nasty rock gardens and drop with the best of the big bikes, while its LCR2 suspension locates weight low in the laterally stiff chassis for ripping high-G berms as fast as possible. With the ability to dial geometry for any condition and the Marzocchi-damped suspension to soak it up, the Flat Line monster-trucks DH competition and freeride sessions.

  • FORM-manipulated tubing varies wall thickness and shape for minimal weight and maximum strength
  • LC2R patented suspension for a highly predictable ride in all conditions
  • Shimano Saint brakes with 203mm rotors offer stopping power for halting the Earths rotation
  • Saint Drivetrain for banging through the gears
  • Highly tunable Marzocchi ATA World Cup and ROCO TST R for stomping drops and dropping competitors

Bottom Line: Monster truck is a verb.

Got out and sessioned mine for the first time yesterday. It pretty much runs over everything. I found that making moto noises while descending was helpful, but that may be psychological. At 5'8", I'm stoked that I got the small size. This bad boy is dang long.
Off to Whistler on Friday, that will offer the true test of the bikes value. Everything so far points to unfettered bliss.
