Maxxis Monorail Tire - Clincher

The Maxxis Monorail has a radical tread pattern that’s designed to run all-out in dry XC race conditions. The ramped center knobs run in a serpentine wave, providing grip in loose sand and gravel without slowing you down in the straights. Stiff, C-shaped side teeth slash through corners, wide-set middle knobs shed mud, and thin “monorail” bars running lengthwise add lateral stability and reduce knob flex, decreasing rolling resistance while simultaneously increasing traction.

the maxxis monorail tire is for front or rear wheel?

The Maxxis Monorail for for both front and rear. It's also a directional tire, so make sure you check the stamp on the sidewall when installing it.

These are not the most durable tires, I shredded a set within a month. They give great feel and work well when it is dry but not remotely suitable for even a little bit of mud.

what does UST mean?

The Maxxis Monorail comes in both a non-UST version (run tubes inside) and a UST version (run tubeless). From the drop-down menu "select option" above, the UST version is the more expensive option.

I don't know where you see it on this page, but usually it means Universal Standard Tubeless. I'm pretty sure this tire is not a tubeless.
