Fox Dirtpaw Glove - Men's

The Fox Racing Men's Dirtpaw is a great all-around bike glove—tough enough for freeriding without being overkill on the singletrack. A padded palm keeps these gloves from being destroyed if you eat it on a lose corner, and the padded knuckles ensure you don't look like you just finished a bar fight after a nasty wreck.

Bottom Line: Whatever you ride, ride it with the Fox Racing Dirtpaw Bike Gloves.

Lacking padding

By:
January 10, 2010

I purchased these gloves for my adult son as a Christmas gift. He absolutely loved them and said they were the best thing he recevied this year. However, the description stated there was padding on the upper side/back of the glove and there is not. I offered to return them but my son said not to bother, they are still good enough for his needs. So just a heads up: If you do a lot of riding throught brush, you may want to consider a different glove.

I'm using these as my all-around mtb glove and they have good knuck & palm protection. They also look better on then they do in the pics. Would be a 5-star review b/c these gloves are great...except that after only about 6 hours riding the silicone dots that provide a little more grip on the 1st 2 fingers have started to come off. Wouldn't stop me from buying another pair tho!

Good Glove

overall a good bike glove. decent amount of palm padding and good knuckle protection. they've saved my hands during some pretty good diggers so far and are holding up well. only downfall is the silicone grippers on the index and middle finger rip off pretty easily, even after a pretty mellow trail ride i noticed them starting to peel off.

pretty good for the $$$$

my last fox gloves lasted 5 seasons so i def wanted to buy fox again. i like this glove so far....the rubber pieces on the front index fingers are peeling off, but they don't really serve a purpose anyway. i think i'll probally get one or maybe 2 seasons with these. that's fine for $21. they seem to run a touch small.

Favorite Glove

By:

I love these gloves and ride them both on the road and mountain biking. I have been in a couple of crashes on the road and they saved my knuckles. For me I like the non-padded grip and medium knuckle and hand protection. I have 3 pairs if that says anything. They have lasted well and have more than met my duration expectations. I do find they are a bit tight at the end of the fingers the first 3 or 4 rides until they wear in.

So far so good

These replaced a much older pair of Fox riding gloves, and in comparison the construction is much lighter than I expected. Haven't had any wipeouts with them yet, so we'll see how they hold up. But, fit is perfect and the ventilation is pretty good. I'd recommend these to a friend for sure.

GRLOVE

I have gotten at least 50 long hard days out of these gloves. The palm has started to deteriorate but I am completely satisfied with the amount of use I have gotten out of them. I believe I can get another 15 rides out of them. I have used them to do minor trail work as well which has helped take some life out of them. They fit great. Wish there was a nose wipe or something but my sleeve works just as good. They all so made a great spring ski glove but would get wet pretty quick.

Cool, but Sizing is Off.

By:

I've needed a new pair of gloves for sometime after the dog ate the wrist straps off the old ones. So I decided to get a pair of Oakley's. I like them, they are comfortable, but after following the instructions to measure for the correct size, I actually needed an extra large. So if you are going to get them, get one size larger than usual. Other than that. They are ok.
