Five Ten Impact High Shoe - Men's

The Five Ten Men’s Impact Mid Mountain Bike Shoes give you the incredible grip of Stealth S1 rubber to keep you on the pedals no matter how rough the rock gardens get. Remember when everyone used to race DH clipped in? Then some dude named Sam Hill came alone and started kicking everyone’s ass with Five Ten shoes. Well, learn from Sam and get serious about your footwear. In addition to the amazing grip, these Five Ten shoes also give you extra ankle protection to save you during a bad come-off.

Bottom Line: Racers and freeriders rejoice.

How do these fit wide feet? I've tried the Rennie version (red and grey) and the 5.10 Karver show and they are both too narrow for my flippers.

Going clipless

By:
January 26, 2010

Using five ten shoes with WTB greaseport flat pedals makes my toe surgery (bunionectemy) a non issue.I can put my foot almost anywhere on the pedal instead of just the ball that spds require. I learned of these shoes from Mt Bike Action product review and agree with their evaluations. Plus they keep feet warm in these damp, chilly Santa Cruz mountains. Thanks Five Ten.

Sorry man, no love for the big footed guys. They are only adding the 14 in one or two shoes too. Looks like your rolling in Vans.

These shoes rock!

By:
September 29, 2009

This is my 3rd pair of 5.10 Impacts, I have had the low tops which lasted forever and now have moved to the high tops. I really like these as they prevent rocks kicking up and hitting your ankle bones and provide a bit more support and protection than the low tops.

I have had these for quite a while and the soles while super grippy actually are really durable. 5.10 provides great customer service and is an awesome company that has been updating their shoes and coming out with new pro models and more options from the regular black. I really dig these shoes. They are highly recommended. They do have a bit of a break in period as the soles are super sticky. They do take some time to get used to
