A little rain—or even a lot—won’t ruin your day of riding. You wore your Endura Men’s Venturi eVent Bike Overtrousers on top of your shorts. These durable pants feature exceptionally waterproof breathable eVent fabric, fully taped seams, and waterproof zippers for bomber weather protection on the singletrack. When the clouds wring out their last drops, pull up the Venturi’s ankle zippers so you can get these pants over your muddy shoes, and fold the Venturis into the rear pocket, which becomes a bag. Stash your bagged pants in your hydration pack, straighten your bike shorts, and keep biking. These overtrousers are just a zipper away should the rain return before you get to the pub for an après brew.
Bottom Line: Muddy wet outside but dry on the inside.
In snowboarding, this feature on a pant is called "ghetto slits" but there's nothing ghetto about these 16.5" leg openings with Velcro and zipper closure as well as reflective hits to keep you safe.
They keep me dry, they're comfortable, fit well, and they look good. Two velcros on each pant leg to keep them away from the chainrings and cranks.
A caution on the sizing chart: my waist size is ~32-33, but I'm tall. I ordered the large, and width-wise the waist fits me well, but the rest is a touch wider than I'd like. It would have been helpful if the sizing chart indicated inseam length as well.
