I bought these shorts specifically since they did not have an attached chamois and I absolutely love them. They are tough enough to provide lots of protection, but still extremely breathable. I love that I can use them multiple days with fresh chamois liners, and they fit great. The length is perfect - they overlap with my leg armor when standing.
