DAKINE Highwire Bike Glove - Men's

The extremely breathable DAKINE Men's Highwire Glove puts the smackdown on anything from a circuit of Fruita's favorites to a Sunday afternoon cruise around town. This padded mountain biking glove features a hand-hugging performance articulated fit and stretchy neoprene cuff, providing dynamic resistance-free handling on the single track. The Highwire's palm padding takes the pins and needles out of long rides, while the Clarino suede palms ensure long-term durability.

Bottom Line: Good rides begin and end with comfortable hands.

Hot and Cold!

I live in the south east, and we get hot and humid summers and mild winters. These gloves have been great in both temps. They are breathable for the hot temps, but have enough coverage to keep the initial chill off the hands.

Great padding and feel. They fit well and during rides, didn't think twice about them as they were doing their job!

I've fallen on them and gotten them dirty as well and they have held up just fine. I know there are a lot of gloves out there, but each time I come back to Dakine gloves for the fit and function... and of course the price!

Enjoy!

Dakine Highwire -- good glove

By:

This is my second pair of Dakine Highwires and I really like the glove. Can't speak to durability of the new ones yet, but the feel is excellent. I immediately noticed how nice the padding felt -- not so much that it felt too padded and disconnected from the grips, but just enough to have me periodically wondering, "Why do my hands feel so good? Oh, these are padded!" I'm between a medium and large (last pair were mediums, and they're snug but fine), and this pair in large have a comfortabl, slightly loose (by comparison) feel without being sloppy or sliding around. Good glove overall. My last pair of Highwires have lasted over a year and are in great shape except for the silicone brake-finger grippers, but the silicone on the new ones seems to be better and more smoothly adhered to the fingers. I recommend them.

Same feelings as Dave R. but I wear a true medium and I dont have any fit issues, lucky me. these are one of the few gloves that I have worn that you can do up the D-ring on a full face without having to take them off, the grippers on the fingers are a little thin but I still recomend them.
