Continental Top Contact Reflex City/Trekking Tire - 26x1.9

The Continental Top Contact Reflex City/Trekking Tire uses a semi-click center tread and knobs on the edges to provide excellent performance in all around-town conditions. Whether you’re cruising down the street to the store or crossing town on a gravel bike path, this tire handles it all. Continental developed this tire specifically for around-town cruising, so you don’t have to wear down your dedicated mountain bike tires.

Bottom Line: For every street and trail in the city.

I was wondering if this tire would fit on my rims. My mountain tires are a 2.35 width. I looked at the sizing chart but did not know if these would work or not (since sometimes that stuff can be inaccurate). Also, are there any other city/trekking tires that anyone could recommend that would fit. Thanks!

These should work with your rims just fine. They are made for the wider MTB wheels.

Is this tire super puncture resistant? I need a tire that won't get flats easily and was hoping the Continental Contract Reflex might be stronger than your standard slick tire.

They are probably halfway decent at resisting punctures. If you really want to protect against punctures, you could run tire liners, use puncture-resistant tubes, thick DH-ish tubes, or put that slime stuff in your tires. Something in addition to the tire is probably going to be your best bet.

This listing is for the tire only. The tire will mount on to a 26 inch rim. The rim will have skewer you are referring to running through the hub.FYI, if you're looking for a smooth mtb tire to use on the trainer there are at least two other brands I found listed for ~$32 back on the MTB Tires page.
