Continental Spike Claw Studded Mountain Bike Tire

If you lose traction on ice and snow, it's time to wrap the Continental Spike Claw Studded Tires around your rims. These aggressive winter MTB tires have metal studs embedded in tall, widely-spaced lugs just like snow rally tires, and they enhance grip like you wouldn't believe in slippery, frozen conditions. Pick up the 120-stud version for occasional ice, and the 240-stud version for riding around in hockey rinks. Why you ride in conditions like this is a mystery, but we're not here to ask questions. *Sold individually

Bottom Line: Get the Spike Claw, and get a grip on your masochistic ice fetish.

The 240 is pictured. The 120 version only has studs on the outer knobs.

I would recommend these to anyone that commutes during the winter. I have two of them and I currently use only the front. I have found this to be enough. Little to no wear with 30+ miles.
