Kiss your bike saddle sores goodbye thanks to the heavenly padded comfort of the Fox Diva Women’s Shorts. Let the integrated chamois suck up the bumps of berms and burly drops so you won’t have to walk into work crooked the next day. Ample venting on the thighs keeps you cool on hot rides and a touch of stretchy spandex gives these shorts a flexible feel. When you absolutely HAVE to ride to some tunes, internal cord routing keeps your headphone cord from becoming a tangled affair. Unique, side-zip waist closure and hook-and-loop tabs allow for maximum comfort from the parking lot to the peak.
Bottom Line: Send it like a rockstar with diva-like pampering.
I ordered these shorts about a month ago and have worn them three times while biking some single-track trails in Missoula, MT, and I can't say enough good things about them. Compared to other shorts I have tried (and seen), they are both well-fitting and good-looking. The waist sits nice and low in the front, but the back is high enough that you don't have to worry about "plumber's butt", and the tabs on either side - so that you can tweek the waist sizing if need be - work really well. I also really like the length (they hit me just above the knee), and the fact that you can remove the internal padding and wear the shorts out and about; I have the graphite color, and they are cute enough that I actually would! Finally, I would point out that I think this is a great pair of shorts for girls (like me) who have larger thighs. I often have a hard time finding shorts that aren't tight around the thigh, but these fit just fine. As to sizing - I am 5'6, approx. 145 lbs, and I wear the size L. Normally, I wear size 8 - 10 in pants. Hope this helps!
I bought size medium at first but then returned them for large. They run a bit small and I like slightly baggier shorts. They are an amazing fit and great material. Best shorts I ever bought. I will definitely buy these shorts again next season.
I am trying to decide what size to get, med or lg. You said you returned yours for a large. I wear a 5-7 in jeans. 5'4", 130. I want them to fit, but not be tight. What do you suggest?
It is so nice to finally get a pair of mtb shorts that aren't so short that you have no coverage against briars, branches, etc, when out on the trails. The length is awesome, coverage great and the graphics on back of the leg way cool! The side zip thing is awesome, makes the shorts look feminine and stylish! I've received alot of compliments on these shorts both from the girls and the guys that I ride with. The shorts are great for serious trail riding. The only downside is a bit pricey.
* SHELL: 100% Polyester 150D * LINING: 95% Polyester / 5% Spandex * Inner liner features high performance DIVA chamois * Adjustable waist for perfect fitt- no need for a belt * Zipper closure at sides allows innovative cut and aesthetic appeal * Thigh vent zips for airflow and breathability * Side cargo pocket and two front hand pockets * Stash pocket with goggle/sunglass wipe attached to elastic shock cord * ‘Audio Interface’ with a custom pocket and internal cord routing for MP3 players * Outseam: 22 1/2”
Love the length of these shorts. I definitely like the coverage when scraping against branches and stuff. The fit is very nice, with slightly higher back so you don't have a sunburned gap between your shirt & shorts :-) Definitely durable. Had a few crashes so far, while my legs bleed profusely, the shorts only had some dirt on them. Look like they will hold up. Worth the money.
These shorts kick ass - as they should for their hefty price tag! Best women's mtn bike shorts I've ever purchased.
I got them in the green, I'm 5'6" 130 and purchased size med. They fit great, all around. Get 'em, you can't go wrong. Don't mess around buying the cheapies....as you get what you pay for.
Charcoal color looks black online, but is really medium to dark gray. I ordered the large and they were really snug, but I based on the size chart an XL would've been better (for me) if they offered that size. =o) I loved the look, detailing and fit (higher waist in back, length and fabric). Some of nicest shorts I have seen in my extensive search for decent mtb shorts.
